O-Lee!

O-Lee! is a play on the words olé (Spanish word used in bullfighting and other contexts to express joy and celebration) and lee (Spanish translation of the verb “reading”) to bring a sense of multicultural fun to the goal of improving literacy among children with Spanish-speaking parents.

Our vision is for Spanish-speaking parents of elementary school students in Austin to be actively involved in helping their children read and understand English.

Our mission is to make it easy and fun for Spanish-speaking parents to engage in the literacy learning process of their elementary school children through a simple, bilingual interface.
